I saw three large cats (german shepard size) in the UK in a dissused quarry in the Peak District around 1988-90. The cats were of different colours. One black, the other two, different shades of lion colour. I was on the top horseshoe cliff part of the quarry with my dog (border colly/cross) the cats were down below. It was a warm day and they were swatting the flies off of themselves with their tails. As one cat moved it was evident it's scaptulars were massive. My dog went into survival mode and was silent as was I. He could understand that these cats were way bigger than him. We were actually trespassing as entrance to the quarry was only gained by climing a stone wall with barbed wire on the top. I didn't feel worried at first sight of the cats , just in utter disbelief. We watched them for maybe three minutes. The cats were either not aware I was there at this point or didn't care. I was more worried at getting caught by the local farmer who owned the land and didn't want to stay too long. I decided to go. I was so much in disbelief by what we had seen that after leaving the quarry, I had to return one more time just to make sure I was not hallucinating. Again, I could not believe it. We watched for another couple of minutes. Again I thought we should leave but had to turn back one more time to see them. On returning to the cliff top a third time the cats had gone. It was at this point that I suddenly was worried that they could be potentially hunting us, I was particularly worried for my dog. I remember pretty much throwing my dog over the stone wall with the barbwire and swiftly following him. We got out of there. I have since discovered that there was actually a search by police 10 years previous to my encounter in the neighbouring town of Hayfield Derbyshire, after a farmer had reported big cats and had found several of his sheep killed.

The noises at 12:45 sound like noises coming from a railway track. I used to work on the railways and every Saturday night when destressing the track you could hear the noises vibrating along the track from quite a distance and the noise sounds similar to a distant train

If everything you say is true and not just staged clickbait, the solution is simple : the man you've met last time has a weed plantation in the woods (or some other clandestine operation) and he's the one freaking out anyone who camps there. Report it to the local police, perhaps a good'ole sweep of the woods by law enforcement is in order.

Home movies such as these are probably best regarded as spinoffs from the movie "Blair Witch Project". Like that movie they are made on the smallest of budgets, feature people who are not mega stars or evn faint glowing stars, and are shot in quite ordinary dark and deserted woodlands. Regarding evidence of supernatural occurrences, Blair Witch at least featurd strange clumps of twigs , but here they don't even run to that. The only signs of anything being out of the ordinary is the fearful and non-stop verballing. Fun for the first five minutes. Whci of course gives the worthy protagonist his clickbait rating.

I praise you for having the forrsight and sensitivity to pick up on the "strange" and potentially dangerous atmosphere of this place and pack up. You just knew something was off and someone did not want you there. So many people brush it off and make jokes or stay until it gets REALLY scary. Some places have a very definite "energy" or presence and it is best to stay away.

This Fire Maple pot fits on Svea 123r nicely too. Could not resist a Wild Sea Camping stove that had a Tri Flex clipon pot stand, ala Soto WindMaster. There is a BRS 61 Jet Boil £16.69 inc of tax AliExpress, Great, quiet, pretty neat, very fast (although no hurry). Seems to be the same burner as the Primus Lite XL, but no screw in pot supports (will make my own) for alternative non heat exchange pots. Well worth buying. Thanks for sharing

Actually only one was found in the chase, the other 2 were found in a gulley on the other side of the A34. There was non of this stuff last century. A certain person who wrote all this stuff, turned a somewhat harmless Cannock Chase into a hive of paranormal goings on. Cannock Chase is only as spooky as your imagination will allow it to be.

I do the same in Barnet and frankly I would like to school any ass who think they can do that to us. I’ve been pretty lucky. I have a dog or teo with me which won’t hurt but they pick up movement so you can be ready. Be like a hunter. Rude ppl throwing stones. Could be slingshot. Ain’t seen to the end yet. Looks scary.
